Registered Training Organisation
Yorganop has Registered Training Organisation (RTO) status which enables Yorganop to deliver nationally recognised Training that includes Certificate III in Childcare in Aboriginal Communities.
The Training Program has been customised from the Community Services Children Services Training Package and other recognised Competency standards to meet Aboriginal Community needs.
The Training Program is designed to be flexible in delivery, assessment and presentation. The mode of both delivery and assessment is to be, after consultation, determined by the location and time frame available to each individual learner or group.
The program will be implemented with the use of guest speakers, activities and notes. Each student/learner will be provided with 'five workbooks': a collection of resource material and information that can be built on to support students working through this program..
The course has been designed to provide the students/learners with the skills needed to be an effective Childcare worker in an Aboriginal Community.
