How We Work

Focusing on carers

We work to ensure Yorganop carers are supported to optimise the potential of the placement so that children, young people, carers, and family of origin are best served. Through these placements carers work to promote the best interests of children and young people to enable them to contribute to the decisions which affect their lives.

We provide through consultation individually developed support and professional development to targeted Children’s Services through out the State.

Being open and accountable

We work with respect for all individuals in the Aboriginal community, for our funding bodies, for all members of the wider community with whom we come into contact, and seek the same level of respect in return. We seek to be able to trust as we show ourselves to be trustworthy.

Working collaboratively

We work collaboratively with Government ,external agencies, and community to promote an accessible, flexible and equitable service.

Improving our services

We use our resources effectively, embracing a culture of continuous improvement which strives for equity of access to services including country and remote communities.

Recognising Staff

We work to perpetuate and acknowledge the contribution of a dedicated and committed staff whose varied skills and experiences provide a resource which ensures the highest achievable quality of service.

At Yorganop we really do "Nurture our children to Flourish"
